Marist Catholic High School Transfer Student Admission Policies
Students will be considered for admission up to two weeks after the start of a semester for students living in the Eugene area.
For students transferring from outside of the area, the two week time
limit might be extended dependent on family circumstances. Every effort will be made to match the current schedule for out-of town transfers so that the transfer student will not lose credits, however, students may be placed in a class for which they do not receive full credit due to lack of seat-time for credit award. Students must be in good standing at their current school. Students who have been expelled or have behavioral issues may not be considered. Marist cannot supply special services for students who are currently on IEPs or 504s or admit students who do not reside with a parent or legal guardian.
Student transcripts, the current course schedule, and exit grades in current course work must show a 2.5 GPA indicating academic achievement consistent with success in college preparatory classes and that the student is in line for graduation.
The student may not be eligible for financial aid until the following school year.
Students will be placed in the appropriate school year. Students may not repeat or skip a grade at Marist Catholic High School.
Generally, Marist does not accept Senior transfer students.
