Mathematics Teacher; Manager - Boys Varsity Soccer Team
I came to Marist the fall of 1996, through the encouragement of a co-worker that had ties to Marist. At the time my thought was to work at Marist a couple years and then move back into the public school system. Much to my surprise, I have never made the move back to the public system. The staff and faculty here at Marist are unbelievable and the quality of students I have the opportunity to work with and teach is exceptional.
In addition to teaching, I am a member of the Academic Council and serve as the Mathematics Department Chair. This year I am the manager of the Boys Varsity Soccer Team as well. I enjoy attending and supporting the many different student activities and sporting events here at Marist. One of the best benefits of working at Marist is the opportunity to help with the various retreats that Marist offers.
While at Marist I have taught nearly every course we offer: Algebra IA, Honors Algebra, Algebra II/Trig., Business Math, Probability and Statistics, College Algebra/Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Statistics.
My husband Mike and I have two sons attending Marist this year. Tyler is in his senior year and Randy is just starting his freshman year. I enjoy hiking, riding and training my horse and spending time with my dog when not involved with activities here at Marist.
