All International Students: As an international student, there is a large amount of work that needs to be completed in order for you to be accepted as a student at Marist Catholic High School. 

The application deadline for first semester of the 2012-2013 school year is June 8, 2012. The application deadline for second semester is December 10, 2012.

The first day of school is September 5, 2012. Classes for second semester begin on January 28, 2013.
  
Below is a checklist of all materials we will need before you are accepted and registered with the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, which is the governing body of Marist Catholic High School:
 
 1. Copy of your passport.

 2. Students currently in U.S.: copy of visa and I-20 form.

 3. Copy of current school's transcript in English with a cumulative, minimum grade point average of 3.0.

 4. Immunization record (in English).

 5. Proof of financial support in U.S. dollars (usually a bank statement
    from parents/guardian/host family).

 6. Name of home country and home address.

 7. Host family address and phone number.

 8. The completed International Student Application.

 9. Application will not be processed without successful completion of one
     of these tests:

      Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
 
      Secondary Level English Proficiency Test (SLEP)
 
10. Download and fill out each of the Application and Recommendation
       forms listed at right.

Marist does not offer English Language Learner (ELL) classes. Students must be proficient in English.

Marist does not provide assistance in locating a host family. Also, we do not provide dormitories for students.

Each form must be completed as part of your application process.
