Jay Conroy
Principal

It is truly a blessing and privilege for me to begin my 5th year at Marist, 4th year as principal. I joined this wonderful community in 2007, after working in Corvallis and Philomath school districts-- 10 years as a history/social studies teacher and 10 years in administration, including 5 years as principal of Corvallis High (2002-2007). My wife, Judy (Pharmacist), and I have four children, three of whom are married, with three grandchildren.

Working in the vocation of education has been a hallmark of our family; my father was a science teacher, and eventually a district superintendent. Of my children and their spouses, five are teachers, including Tara Barsotti who teaches part-time at Ohara Catholic School here in Eugene.

Judy and I are long-time members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corvallis where we've lived for 38 years.
