Marist Parent Association (MPA)
Mission: The Marist Parent Association is a Christ-centered volunteer committee. We are committed to the betterment of our children (students)/school/staff. It is our goal to build the Marist Community and to assist in the financial aid of our students, present and future.
The purpose of the MPA is to promote the partnership between the parents and Marist Catholic High School, acting as a forum for communication, school spirit and community involvement. The association does not participate in school policy-making.
What we do:
With parent volunteers, we organize and assist with school projects such as the Student Directory and these upcoming events:
● Bingo (October)
● Teacher Christmas Cookie Exchange (December)
● Mother/Son or Father/Daughter Dance (Winter)
● Staff Appreciation Luncheon (Catholic Schools Week)
We also assist with events put on by the school but with MPA handling hospitality:
● Root Beer Social (August)
● Preview Day (January)
● Graduation (June)
MPA meetings are held 5-6 times per school year (with holiday/Auction breaks). We discuss upcoming events, allow Q&A for parents, and provide light snacks.
