"Every Parent Is a PALS Member Building Community..."

The mission of PALS is to help create a school community in which parents feel that they too, are a part of the Marist “We are One” motto.

PALS (Parent and Alumni Service Club) invites all new and returning parents to join up in supporting Marist Catholic High School through our many and varied PALS events and projects. 

In support of the mission, there are five goals that PALS will address through activities conducted during the year.

PALS is

1. PALS for Parents.
   • Work Parties with hospitality event following.
   • New parent mentoring.
   • Class parent representative on the PALS Board.
2. Catalyst for New Ideas and Facilitate Activities
   • Father/Daughter dance and Mother/Son dance.
   • Facilitate educational opportunities for students.

   • Be open to the support of new ideas.

3. Hospitality

   • Calendar Party

   • Parent meeting nights

   • Staff appreciation

   • College Fair

   • PALS cupboard

4. Support Teach/Staff/School

   • “Adopt” the library by coordinating activities that will involve parents and support library acquisitions.

   • Continue to contribute and support the PALS scholarship endowment.

5. Education/Communication

   • Host a guest speaker or forum on a topic of interest to parents.

   • Update the PALS website with useful information for parents.

   • Have a presence at Preview Day for freshman parents.

   • Create and disseminate a “guide for parents."
