I came to Marist after working in a small, rural high school on a temporary 1 year contract. When I arrived at Marist for my interview, I could immediately tell that it was a special place. After meeting my fellow science teachers I knew that this would be a wonderful environment in which to work. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching chemistry, biology and astronomy throughout my years here.
Outside of school I keep busy watching "The Wild Kratts" and the movie "Cars" over and over again with my two sons. I also provide technical support for the feed store my husband and I own.
Education: B.S. (Biology, minors in Chemistry and French) - University of Portland; M.S.Ed. (Science Education) - Oregon State University.
