Marist Foundation Scholarships
The application process for the 2018-19 academic year will open on January 1, 2018.
Dear Students & Parents:
With great pleasure, the Marist Foundation Scholarship Committee will award more than 65 scholarships to deserving Marist students for the 2017-18 academic year. Scholarships range in amount from $500 to $3,000 and have been generously endowed by faithful supporters of Marist to help assist students with the opportunity to receive an exceptional Catholic education here at Marist Catholic High School.
Scholarship applications are online using the link below. We do not require a separate application for each scholarship. You will be considered for all available scholarships. Each scholarship has criteria that will be considered in determining the recipient. We suggest you look at the list of scholarships and criteria below to familiarize yourself with the kind of information you should be providing. Make sure you take appropriate time and consideration in preparing your application for the committee. Please read the "Sample Application/Helpful Hints" below before you begin your application to help make the process go smoothly. The scholarship application deadline is March 6, 2018, 11:59 p.m..
These merit-based scholarships are separate and different from the Tuition Assistance Program which is administered by the school. However, like the Tuition Assistance Program, all scholarships are based on financial need. Therefore you are required to complete and submit a FACTS application as well to prove financial need and be considered for a scholarship award.* The FACTS application deadline is February 26, 2018.
Please also ensure that the student complete the scholarship application. Remember that the application is the student's voice and represents him/her to the Scholarship Committee. It should be an accurate reflection of the student's commitment to school, community and faith. Before you submit your online application please review it carefully for completion. Only applications received by midnight PST on March 6, 2018 will be considered. If you have any questions please contact the school’s Finance Director, Reba Stephens, at (541) 485-7879 or email@example.com.
Chair, Marist Foundation Scholarship Committee
* Only one FACTS application is required per family for both the Marist Foundation Endowed Scholarships and for the school’s Tuition Assistance Program.
