The Advancement Director is responsible for supervising and coordinating the advancement efforts for Marist Catholic High School (MCHS). In addition to management and supervisory duties, the position requires prospecting and cultivation of new and existing constituent relationships aimed at building immediate and long-term support for Marist. This includes increasing resources for Marist by strengthening annual philanthropic support, major and planned gifts, fundraising events, appeals and grants. The Advancement Director is responsible for supervising the department and developing and executing the school’s strategic fundraising plan. The Advancement Director works closely with the President and leadership to support the continued financial stability of the school with the responsibility of meeting the annual advancement budget.
Reports to the President. Member of school Leadership Team and works collaboratively with the MCHS Board of Directors and the Marist Foundation Board of Directors. Supervises the Advancement department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advancement: Growth of short and long-term financial resources, including annual operating revenue, capital improvements and endowment. Management and supervision of personnel, department operations, and planning and execution of strategic Advancement plan. Systematically and effectively grow the school’s fundraising capacity. Marketing: Promote Marist within the alumni, current and past parent, and broader community sectors to meaningfully engage them in the life, mission and vision of Marist Catholic High School.
