Equal Access Tuition Program
The deadline to apply for the Equal Access Tuition Program for the 2019-2020 school year is February 25, 2019. Please contact Carolyn Thurman at (541) 485-7879 if you have questions. Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $12,600.
Guided by our mission and our commitment to be a welcoming community, we strive to offer financially accessible tuition rates. For the 2019-20 school year, the Equal Access Tuition is $5,800 - $12,600 per student (see examples).
Families that apply for the program will pay tuition within the Equal Access range. The amount will be determined based on several factors including income, family size, monthly expenses and other financial resources such as retirement balances or other assets. Those with greater financial need will be offered tuition assistance and/or tuition work grants to help meet their Equal Access Tuition obligation. In addition, students may apply for need-based scholarships through the Marist Foundation.
If you are concerned about paying tuition at Marist, we encourage you to apply for the Equal Access Tuition Program by February 25, 2019. Your financial information will be evaluated by a third party, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, as well as the school’s Equal Access Committee. Your Equal Access Tuition and any additional need for assistance will be determined based on this analysis. Tuition contracts (and Equal Access award letter, if applicable) will be mailed in early April.
Through the generous support of our donors, we are able to set the tuition range below the actual cost per student estimated at $13,725 for 2018-19. Those with the financial means are asked to consider paying the full cost per student of $13,725. The difference of $1,875 above our top tuition rate makes a huge impact on school programs and is also a tax-deductible donation.
The registration deadline for Fall 2019 is April 26.
Your Tuition Dollars at Work
Your tuition also covers the technology that is integral to our academic program and your student's extra-curricular activities (including sports). Marist offers 22 courses for which students receive an LCC transcript (college credit) at no additional cost.
