Gracious Assistance from Parents (GAP)
GAP is a convenient way for parents to support the Annual Fund while making tuition payments. Gifts, above and beyond the tuition rate, are tax deductible and impact all facets of student life while enhancing our standards of excellence. In keeping with the Marist mission, we work hard to provide an affordable, world-class, faith-based education for every student who seeks it. To help ensure that Marist is a thriving educational option in our community, we are committed to: Affordability The actual cost to educate each student is estimated at $14,750. The tuition rate is set below that to benefit every student and to remain an affordable opportunity. Stewardship We exercise sound business practices and operate on a balanced budget. Careful management keeps the average cost per student as low as possible. Philanthropy Strategic Advancement and fundraising initiatives, including the Annual Fund, garner the support of the greater Marist community. These funds help cover the difference, or gap, between the actual cost of educating each student and the standard tuition rate. Accessibility Students from all backgrounds contribute to a vibrant school community. We are committed to making a Marist education financially accessible to all families. |
The cost gap per student is estimated at $1,800 for the coming school year. The GAP program offers families the opportunity to help cover the tuition gap with a program donation above and beyond the tuition rate. Generous participation helps us:
• Offer small class sizes • Attract and retain highly qualified and dedicated teachers • Sustain a wide variety of academics, athletics, and extra curricular activities • Maintain economic diversity in our student population |
