Placement Testing
Each year Marist Catholic High School's freshmen class is comprised of students from 28-38 different middle schools. It is important that freshmen are placed in the appropriate level of classes as they start their Marist experience. To ensure proper placement, Marist requires two different placement tests for entering freshmen:
The test scores are mailed home in the spring. Test Dates for 2021
Due to COVID-19 tests will be determined in March. Applicants will be emailed when dates are chosen and registration opens. Students should check in at the Marist Front Office 15 minutes before the test. The test will begin promptly and will take approximately 2.5 hours. Students should wear a mask/face covering and bring two #2 pencils. They may bring water. A break with snacks will be provided. |
“I was accepted into a highly competitive business school that admits only 35 students every fall. Most students enter the program during the fall term of their junior year. Due to the college credit I earned while at Marist, I will enter the business school honors program this coming fall, a year ahead of schedule. I am so blessed for this opportunity and thankful for the Marist community and all of the faculty members who have had an influence on me.”
